‘The story of Ila who gave up high-paying job for startup’

Many large companies have fired people because of the lockdown in the Corona era. In such a situation, some people have decided that they will no longer do jobs, but will start their own business.

One such success story going viral is of Haryana’s daughter Ila, who left her job with a monthly salary of around Rs. 40,000 and started her business and today she is earning lakhs of rupees a month at her home.

Ila, who lives in Gurugram, started a bakery business from her home. In this work, she had spent only 5 thousand rupees. Gradually, her work picked up and she started doing home delivery. Now she earns about 10 to 12 thousand rupees a day from this business. In this way their income increases from 3 to 4 lakh in a month.

Ila has graduated in Hotel Management from the Welcome Group Graduate School of Hotel Administration. After graduation, she worked in the hospitality industry for many years. After this, she went ahead to gain the marketing experience in Kolkata. She had worked there for about five years.

After getting married in the year 2006 she moved back to Gurugram. One day she got the idea to do this work. “The thought that I am doing for others, why can’t I do it for myself. This very idea gave birth to my bakery business by sitting at home in 2007”, she said.

In her bakery, she makes bakery products such as cakes, gluten free bread, cookies, chocolates, desserts. She manufactures over 40 food items and engages in home delivery in Delhi NCR.

Ila puts up her stall at most of the bakery shop fairs or events held in NCR, where she takes the number of people and does home delivery to them online.
