Rohtak: Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) will prepare a VISION 2025 document to plan out the future developmental road- map of the university. The university administration will work with a definite action- plan to ensure qualitative improvement in all spheres of varsity functioning. This was stated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh presiding over a meeting related to preparations for National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)’ 2021.
MDU VC Prof. Rajbir Singh said that in 2021, the focus of the varsity be on qualitative research, providing apt platform for innovation, incubation, start- ups and consultancies, improving placement opportunities for varsity students, facilitating their holistic personality development, especially enhancing their communication and soft skills. He said that Alumni network would be utilized for achieving developmental goals of the university. There would be continuity in digital teaching- learning process with initiation of new avenues of capacity building, informed the Vice Chancellor.
Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences & Nodal Officer, NIRF Prof. J. P. Yadav gave a presentation about the NIRF 2021 University’s preparations. He was assisted by Dr. N. S. Chauhan and Dr. Preeti Sharma. Dean, Academic Affairs Prof. A. K. Rajan, Dean of Faculties, Senior University functionaries were present in the meeting. Heads of University Teaching Depts. joined the meeting online on university’s webex portal.
