Downward trend in major districts of Haryana in the week ending on 27 th September in comparison to week ending on 20 th September. When we compare last weak active cases with this week covid-19 cases, there seems to be a downward trend in leading districts of Haryana .
In Gurugram we find that there were 2792 cases last week as compared to 2559 cases . Last week 1742 cases were in Faridabad whereas they are 1357 this week . In Karnal we find 1171 cases this week whereas these were 1702 last week. Kurukshetra had 1519 cases last week and 1085 cases this week .
There were 1470 cases last week as compared to 1262 cases in Hisar district .Ambala district had 1463 cases last week. This week these were 996. On week ending on 20 th September the active cases in Panchkula were 1399 whereas these were 1016 in the week ending on 27 September .
Panipat had 1327 cases last to last week and 909 cases the last week ending on 27 .09.2020.In Rohtak district the active cases were 1076 in the week ending on 20 th September as compared to 783 cases last week ending on 27 th September.
First case of COVID-19 was reported in Haryana on 17.03.2020. From the date of inception of COVID-19 case in Haryana, the numbers have been increased to 123,782 on 27.09.2020. Out of these cases, 105,990 have been cured and 1307 deaths were reported till 27.09.2020. The total active cases were 17149. Recovery percentage was 84.9%.Mortality percentage was 1.1%. Total cases per million population were 4823. Active cases load per million was 676.
This week there were a total 358 critical covid-19 patients in Haryana, 306 being on oxygen support and 52 being on ventilator support.
There are 12368 current active covid-19 cases under home isolation,maximum (2019) being in Guru gram district.
On date 27.09.2020, districts Gurugram (including 14 Italians), Faridabad, Sonipat, Ambala, Panipat, Karnal, Hisar, Panchkula (including 21 Foreign Returnee), Rohtak, Rewari, Kurukshetra,
Yamunanagar, Sirsa, Mahendragarh and Bhiwani were sharing the major part of total COVID-19 cases in Haryana.
Minimum deaths due to covid-19 were in Charkhi Dadri this week(2). Maximum deaths were in Faridabad(215). The age wise distribution of Covid-19 cases in Haryana represents that the highest number of cases reported in Haryana belongs to the age group (25-34) years which is 33770, followed by age group (35-44) years which is 24616.
Maximum critical cases (50) were in KCGMC Karnal followed by civil hospital Panchkula having 38 critical cases.
On the precautionary side, things are not as they should be. The mask which is a very significant factor to prevent the spread of COVID- 19 is not being used with true spirit by the majority of Haryanvi people.
The physical distancing is not being followed in markets and other social and religious places. Same is the case with hand hygiene.
The trend is now from NCR districts to other districts along NH ways .Also the trend is now from cities to rural areas where people are not using these precautions.
