There are total 1470 deaths because of COVID-19 in Haryana as on 04.10.2020. Out of these 57 % were of those patients who were on ventilator.

HARYANA RANKING IN INDIA:-
As per MoHFW, Haryana is having 16 the ranking in India on the basis of overall case load of COVID-19 and 12th ranking on the basis of COVID-19 related mortality.
STATUS OF COVID-19 CASES IN HARYANA
~First case of COVID-19 was reported in Haryana on 17.03.2020.
~From the date of inception of COVID-19 case in Haryana, the numbers have been increased to 133,878 on 04.10.2020.
~Out of these cases, 120,341 have cured and 1470 deaths were reported till 04.10.2020.
District wise situation:-
On date 04.10.2020, districts Gurugram had 21746(including 14 Italians) total positive cases, Faridabad had 20397, Sonipat had 8514 cases, Ambala had 8176,
Karnal had 7515 cases, Panipat had 7478 , Hisar had 6714 cases , Panchkula had 6221 (including 21 Foreign Returnee), Rohtak had 6189 cases, Rewari had 5977, Kurukshetra had 5808 cases,
Yamunanagar had 4422 cases , Sirsa had3979 , Mahendragarh had 3588 cases and Bhiwani had 2881 cases. These were the districts which were sharing the major part of total COVID-19
cases in Haryana.

~The age wise distribution of COVID-19 cases in Haryana represent the highest number of cases reported in Haryana belongs to age group 25-34 years followed by age groups 35-44 years, 45-54 years,. 15-24 years, 55-64 years , 5-14 years, 75-84 years, 0-less than 5 years, 85-94 years and 95-104 years of age.
Deaths:- There are total 1470 deaths because of COVID-19 in Haryana as on 04.10.2020. Out of these 57 % were of those patients who were on ventilator. There were maximum deaths of senior citizens 58%.
District wise there were maximum deaths in Faridabad as on 04.10.2020, followed by Guru gram with 178 deaths , Karnal with 109 deaths, Ambala with 95 deaths . Rest of the districts had death range from 4 in Charkhi Dadri to 94 in Panchkula.
The deaths with comorbidity were maximum with diabetes mellitus (12%), followed by hypertension (6%) and respiratory diseases to be 5%.
Testing status in Haryana
Total samples collected were 2021267. Total samples tested were 2015299. The positivity rate was 6.6%. Maximum samples were collected in Guru gram (279343) followed by Faridabad (204392).
