The ranking result for 2019 was declared recently by Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare Minister, Mr. Narendra Singh Tomar on the closing ceremony of all state agricultural universities Vice-Chancellor’s conference in the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi.

Chandigarh:- Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar was ranked as the third  ‘Best State Agricultural University’ amongst 64 State Agricultural Universities and 3 Central Agricultural Universities of the country. The ranking result for 2019 was declared recently by Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare Minister, Mr. Narendra Singh Tomar on the closing ceremony of all state agricultural universities Vice-Chancellor’s conference in the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi.

Sharing details in this regard, an official spokesperson said that in this ranking, different Central Agricultural University, State Agricultural University and ICAR institutions participated. However, the University has been ranked overall sixth (including ICAR institutions, State and Central Agricultural Universities in the country). Professor Samar Singh, Vice Chancellor of the University congratulated to all the faculty members, staff and students for this achievement.

Prof. Samar Singh told that the ranking is based on performance across 33 parameters pertaining to teaching, research and extension excellence.
