Classes will be held in the new campus of the university in February, construction of two academic blocks of the university is nearing completion. University’s new campus will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

Bhiwani: Now Chaudhary Bansi Lal University will have its own magnificent complex in which the various teaching departments will commence their classes in January.
The construction of the boundary wall and golden jubilee gate of the university have already been completed. As a part of the first phase of the construction of the entire campus, two up-to-date teaching blocks have been constructed at a cost of about Rs. 88 crore. As the second part of phase one, the project of around Rs. 127 crore for the construction of roads, water works, power houses, sewerage systems, herbal gardens, students’ facilitation centres, boom barriers, etc. is also about to start shortly. The process for the second tender of phase one is underway in which a 70-bed guest house, sewerage treatment plant and other developmental works will be undertaken.
Around Rs. 200 crore are being spent on phase one. In phase two, a boys’ hostel to accommodate 350 students, another hostel for girls with a capacity of 280 students, administration block, canteen, central library, sports and students’ activity centre, the residences for the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar and other faculty members will be constructed.
In a short span of about one and a half years, the construction work of two modern teaching blocks is going to be completed and it is expected that the classes will start in January. There will be 12 smart class rooms in these teaching blocks with a seating capacity of about 780 students.
These modern teaching blocks will accommodate the administrative offices on the ground floor, canteen, central library, multipurpose lab with a capacity of 200 students, seminar hall, conference hall, girls’ and boys’ common room and first-aid room. There will also be class rooms, computer labs, departmental labs and offices etc. for the departments of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biotech, Botany, Zoology and Microbiology.
These teaching blocks will be well equipped with the following modern technical facilities:
CCTV cameras will be installed in the entire building.
Smart class rooms will be used for up-to-date teaching-learning activities.
24×7 Wi-Fi facility will be available.
Lift systems and biometric attendance will be operative in the new teaching blocks.
Under the able leadership of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. RK Mittal, and guidance of the Registrar, Dr. Jitender Bhardwaj, the construction work continued on war footing even in the pandemic situation. The university administration left no stone unturned in realizing the university’s dream of constructing its own campus. It is worth mentioning here that on 29th July, 2019, Bhumipujan of two modern academic blocks of the university was performed by Sh. Indresh Kumar, national thinker and national executive member of the RSS, the then Education Minister Sh. Ram Bilas Sharma, Ch. Dharmabir Singh (MP Bhiwani-Mahendragarh), Sh. Ghanshyam Saraf (MLA Bhiwani), Sh. Bishambhar Balmiki (MLA Bawani Khera), Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. R.K. Mittal and Registrar Dr. Jitender Bhardwaj in the presence of the Wapcos Company officials, officers and students of the university and other representative dignitaries of the region.
