55th Haryana Day was celebrated enthusiastically at Haryana Raj Bhavan while adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines today.
Haryana Governor, Mr. Satyadeo Narain Arya, Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, First Lady Governor, Mrs. Saraswati Devi and other cabinet members were also present at the function. On this occasion, the Governor congratulated the people of Haryana.
While congratulating the people of the State, Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal urged them to contribute so as to make Haryana as one of the most developed and technically equipped states in future. This will ensure that the people of the state are happy and prosperous.
While congratulating the people on this occasion, Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti, Mr. Rattan Lal Kataria said that when the state of Haryana was carved out of Punjab, the resources were limited at that time whereas today Haryana has overtaken Punjab in many aspects.
While wishing the people of Haryana on Haryana Day, Education Minister, Mr. Kanwar Pal said that during the last 54 years, there has been tremendous progress. He said that apart from sports and agriculture, the state has made unprecedented progress in the industrial sector also.
On this occasion, Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs Mr. Sandeep Singh while congratulating and wishing the people of the state said that though the state has progressed in almost every field, but it has performed outstandingly in the field of sports. He said that Haryana players presently bring about 50 per cent of medals in international sports competitions.
